The Global School of Skill Development (GSSD) is a prestigious educational institution committed to providing vocational and skill-based training to individuals. The primary goal of GSSD is to bridge the gap between traditional education and the ever-evolving needs of various industries by equipping students with practical, job-relevant skills. This initiative ensures that graduates are well-prepared for the demands of their chosen professions.

Our Mission

A first of its kind career-assisted education scheme for students is now being Implemented in the State. This project is being implemented with technical cooperation of the Central Government.

An employment assisted education scheme is now being initiated to provide through high value Central Government certification to students for all the courses currently being conducted and planned to be conducted in all educational instituions in the 14 districts of Kerala. This is the first time that such an educational scheme has been devised and implemented in Kerala. This scheme enables students of all educational institutions in Kerala to pursue higher studies in all vocational courses of their choice.

This scheme aims to provide high value certification to students after successfull completion of studies in their designated courses & personal interview training. This is to enable the students to get job opportunities at the government level & in big companies in India & abroad in good positions with high salaries. Our mission is to provide educational assistance project to be implemented throughout Kerala and other states of South India.

Key aspects of the Global School of Skill Development typically include:

About Ministry of MSME Government of India

A Government of India Non-profit Autonomous organization under the Ministry of MSME was established in the year 1986. The Management of affairs of the Centre is governed by its Governing Council constituted by the Government of India. The Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner (MSME), Government of India is the Chairman of the Governing Council. The Centre is engaged in testing, inspection & consultancy of international standards to meet qualitative product/merchandise requirements of the industry and also has state of art facilities for both physical and chemical testing of various products such as Sports Footwear, Leather, Plastics, Rubbers, Packaging materials, Textiles, Safety footwear, and Sports Goods as per national & international methods such as IS, ISO, SATRA, AATCC, DIN etc. The Testing Laboratory of the Centre is able to provide fast and convenient service for Footwear/Sports Goods/Textile/Rubber manufacturers and is able to serve its clients according to diversified market requirements. The Centre is certified with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 having state of the art sophisticated imported and indigenous machinery & equipment.

The key functions of the ministry include:

1. Policy Formulation

Developing comprehensive policies and guidelines is a critical step in fostering the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which play a vital role in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment. By establishing clear and effective frameworks, these policies aim to create a supportive environment that addresses the unique challenges faced by MSMEs, such as access to finance, technology, markets, and skilled labor. These guidelines are designed to provide a strategic roadmap that ensures the long-term sustainability, resilience, and competitiveness of MSMEs in an increasingly dynamic and globalized market.

2. Financial Support:

Providing financial assistance through a variety of schemes, subsidies, and incentives plays a crucial role in alleviating the financial constraints that often hinder the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These financial support mechanisms are designed to empower MSMEs by addressing their unique challenges, such as limited access to capital, high operational costs, and the risks associated with innovation and expansion. By offering tailored financial solutions, governments and financial institutions help create a more conducive environment for MSMEs to thrive, ultimately contributing to economic growth, job creation, and increased competitiveness.

3. Capacity Building:

Offering a diverse range of training and development programs is essential for enhancing the skills and competencies of both entrepreneurs and the workforce within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. These programs are designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, tools, and expertise needed to navigate the complex and rapidly evolving business landscape. By focusing on key areas such as business management, financial literacy, digital transformation, marketing strategies, and technical skills, these initiatives aim to foster a more agile and innovative MSME sector, capable of responding effectively to emerging challenges and seizing new opportunities.

4. Infrastructure Development:

Supporting the establishment of industrial estates, technology parks, and other essential infrastructure is a critical step in creating a conducive environment where Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can operate, innovate, and grow. These dedicated spaces provide MSMEs with access to shared resources, modern facilities, and advanced technologies that might otherwise be out of reach for smaller enterprises. By concentrating essential services and infrastructure in one location, industrial estates and technology parks offer MSMEs the tools they need to enhance productivity, collaborate with peers, and drive innovation, all while minimizing operational costs.

5. Regulatory Framework Simplification

Simplifying existing regulations and procedures to create a more straightforward and approachable business environment for MSMEs, reducing bureaucratic hurdles and making it easier to start and run businesses. Through these initiatives, the Ministry of MSME aims to promote entrepreneurship, create employment opportunities, and drive economic growth by supporting businesses that are often critical to both local and national economies.

On 9 May 2007, subsequent to an amendment of the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, erstwhile Ministry of Small Scale Industries and the Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries were merged to form the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (M/o MSME). This Ministry now designs policies and promotes/ facilitates programmes, projects and schemes and monitors their implementation with a view to assisting MSMEs and help them to scale up. The primary responsibility of promotion and development of MSMEs is of the State Governments. However, the Government of India, supplements the efforts of the State.

  • Design and Manufacturing of Plastic Moulds, Die Casting Dies, Press Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges, etc.
  • Precision Machining Job Work on CNC Milling, CNC Wire Cut, CNC EDM, Profile & Surface Grinding, Injection moulding, press work, etc.
  • Job Work on 3D Co-ordinate Measuring, Reverse Engineering, Product Drawing Development, etc.
  • Heat Treatment for all type of Tool Steel, Alloy Steel including Carbo Nitriding/Case Hardening, etc.
  • Consultancy Services for efficient Tool Engineering for improvement of quality and productivity.

MSME-Technology Centre, is first Tool Room and Training Centre in Central India providing total tooling & training solutions since 1995. It has been extending services to defence, heavy industries and R&D Institutions like ISRO, BHEL, HAL, BARC and RRCAT, etc. in addition to local and countrywide industries. It is the first Technology Centre in India which has developed FFS and BFS Mould in India and minimize the import in Pharma Industries.

Integrated solution for Indian industrial growth is based on provision to bridge the gap between Industrial needs for trained, skilled & innovative manpower. The Training Center has one of the most sophisticated setup for imparting training in tool & die, CNC and CAD/CAM Technology. The training is imparted through advanced/latest curriculum with the application of latest audio visual training equipment. The emphasis is on maintaining scientific blend of theory and practice to equip the trainees for applying acquired knowledge.

The Technology Centre is one of the largest Centre in Madhya Pradesh which is providing employable training to nearly 10000 youth through AICTE/NCVT approved and own Ministry of MSME approved NSQF level 76 courses & other sector courses and as well as services to nearly 1000 industries every year. MSME-Technology Centre, has three outreach Extension Centres. Our passed out students are holding key positions in prestigious industries not only in India but also in worldwide Industries/MNCs.

We propose to organise/conduct various employability/skill development training programme for the students studying in 10th to 12th standards and other Engineering/Diploma/ITI in the field of IT, Automation, Manufacturing, Solar Panel, Fire and Safety etc.. and as well as Computer Hardware and Software related training. Further, a brief session on career opportunities on the Long Term Training Programmes conducted by this Technology Centre for 10th pass students I.e. Advanced Diploma in Tool and Die Making, Diploma in Computer Science , Mechatronics , Production Technology and other ITI Level courses can also be organised. All these courses are practical oriented training programmes, which has huge demand in the industries and are 100% job oriented courses.

We are also an authorised Technical Agency by NCVT for Assessment and Certification of the above courses. Accordingly, we have authorised WHRDE-GSSD as Training Partner to conduct various employability/skill development training programmes throughout the state to impart these job oriented training programmes for the upliftment of the Society.

About WHRDE (World Human Resource Development Education)

World Human Resource Development Education(WHRDE),accessible at www.whrde.edu.in, is an Autonomous Professional Education Institution constituted, incorporated, and registered under the Government of India's Literary & Scientific & Societies Act XXI of 1860. Established in 2007, WHRDE aims to promote science, technical, computer, and skill development education in line with the National Education Policy of 1986 and the Program of Action 1992 of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. It functions as a promoting agency under the MHRD’s “Scheme of Support to Voluntary Agencies for Adult Education and Skill Development,” supporting the objectives of the National Literacy Mission (NLM). WHRDE is authorized to issue certificates to qualified candidates and its courses are recognized for employment and visa purposes. The institution also aligns with the Open and Basic Education (OBE) policy of the MHRD (NIOS), targeting both children up to 14 years of age and adults above 14 years.

World Human Resource Development Education(WHRDE), an autonomous and registered body established on 21st November 2007 (Reg. No. CQ 660/2007), is launching a new project aimed at expanding access to quality education for underserved populations. WHRDE has long catered to the educational needs of working adults, housewives, rural youth, SC/ST communities, women, and other disadvantaged groups using open and distance learning methods. As a non-commercial, voluntary institution, WHRDE is committed to democratizing higher education by bringing learning to students’ doorsteps, offering flexible subject choices at lower costs, and focusing on job-oriented, professional education. Recognized under the Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and working independently of UGC funding, WHRDE operates in line with the principles of the National Education Policy 1986 and the Human Rights Protection Act 1993. This project continues WHRDE’s mission to empower communities through inclusive education and to support learners in achieving academic and professional success across sectors, with many alumni already serving in both government and private organizations nationwide.

About Our New Project

WHRDE-GSSD has been associated with the Ministry of Micro and Medium enterprises (MSME) , Government of India, for training skill development & vocational activities.

Henceforth, some of the WHRDE and GSSD courses would be Trained, Supervised and Assessed hands in hands with MSME, Government of India. This initiative ensures that the training, supervision, and assessment processes are meticulously managed to uphold high-quality standards. As a result, students will receive top-notch training and, upon successfully passing the examinations, will be awarded credible certificates. These certifications will highly enhance their prospects in securing both government and private-sector jobs.

The Value of Certification

As per the educational survey in Kerala in regard to higher studies,most of the educational institutions and the students understand the importance of central government certification which is not being promotted due to various reasons. Educational institutions have not taken the initiative on fact of information has been a shortfall in this area.

Hence most of the institutions are providing certification which dosen't have value these for the future of the young generation in Kerala is uncertain it has been in the field of education since time inmemorial that highly valued Central Government certification is 100% mandatory for students after their,students to get jobs at government level, in good companies in India & abroad, with better salaries.

GSSD has taken the initiative to provide government certification in association with MSME, Govt.of India,as per the conditions laid down by the MSME,this certification will be provided to any courses as per the conditions and applied with the proper formate to MSME, and after approval of the syllabus and study materials,the centre can provide the courses with MSME certification. GSSD has partnerd with MSME for providing certification for courses the institutions are presently running and also for new courses as per the conditions laid down by the coordinator and MSME. This would be overwhelming into not just for the institutions presently running but also for the upcoming institutions. all the institutions should provide the best quality education and certification for students.

On successful completion of course the assessment and evaluation of the examination will be conducted by MSME technology center and high value certificate with government inscribed logo will be issued by ministry of MSME government of India. Students will benefited from such certification as that would help them to gain jobs in government and abroad too.
